Background Information:
Biometrica Systems (An L-1 Identity Company) is the industry leader in providing advanced identity solutions to the Casino and Gaming Industry.
Biometrica's main product is the Visual Casino Suite. The Visual Casino Suite includes several software modules that help casino Surveillance and Security departments collect, store, retrieve and analyze critical identification information in order to make informed decisions in controlling and protecting gaming assets and operations.
The Visual Casino Suite includes cutting edge facial recognition technology to allow users to perform a face match from a video surveillance image against a database of known casino undesirables, criminals, and terrorists.
In 2007, Biometrica Systems partnered with Avatar Software Creations Inc. to add functionality and improve Biometrica's software products. Since that time, Avatar has been providing the following services to Biometrica under a Software Development Partnership agreement:
- Technology consulting.
- Software development services.
- Software support services.
Through the Software Development Partnership agreement, Avatar has become Biometrica's Software Development partner for several software products.
Recently, Biometrica and Avatar released Visual Casino Suite 5 (VC5). VC5 features a redesigned user interface, overall system enhancements and a new Incident Reporting module. This new Incident Reporting module was developed by Avatar based on its experience working with various Casino Surveillance departments.
The Software Development Partnership has given Biometrica the tools necessary to develop new products and adjust to new market conditions in a very cost effective manner.
Avatar Software Creations Inc. continues to develop new features, products and perform research and development on various technologies related to Biometrica and its products.
